VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
COMING TO
FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH
OF CLAY CITY
The First Baptist Church
of Clay City
will be hosting our annual
Vacation Bible School
starting with the outdoor
kick-off
at the home and pond of
Bob and Anna Mae Coulter,
at 5:00 Pm on July 6th,
on Sunset Avenue in Clay City.
We will have a wiener roast
with everyone bringing
in veggies,
salads and desserts..
The Church will furnish the
meat, drinks, and buns.
There will be
contemporary
Christian
music
and games for the kids.
Josh Sullens
will be running our bus
both for the kick-off
and
each evening for
Bible School.
If you know of kids
in the Clay City
area
who would like to come
to
Bible School,
but need a ride,
please call :

We would like to know
ahead of time those
needing a ride,
so we can plan our route.
Vacation Bible School
itself is going
to be really exciting this year.
It will be each evening
Monday, July 7th
through Friday July 11th
from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Our theme is
"Outriggers Island".
We will be taking an
imaginary trip to Hawaii.
We will surf the Bible
together,
and each wave that
we ride
will carry us deeper
into
the truths
of
God’s Word.
There will be classes
for each age from
preschool through
6th grade.
There will be
Bible study,
music, crafts,
refreshments
and
recreation each evening.
Friday evening will be a
special family
night
with a play performed
by the kids from
Bible School.
We would especially
like to invite
friends and families
to the
Friday evening service,
and
there will be
special refreshments
for the evening.
Remember,
if you have children
from preschool
through 6th grade,
you are invited to
bring them
to
The First Baptist Church
of Clay City for
Vacation Bible School,
each
evening July 7th – 11th
at 6:00 PM.
Our kickoff wiener roast
will be at the
Coulter pond,
Sunday, July 6th
at 5:00 PM.
You do not need to
be a member
of our church or
any church
to bring your kids
to
Bible School.
We consider it an
honor
and a
privilege to serve
them
in this manner.
Also,
don’t forget the bus is up
and running
for
those who need a ride.
We really hope
to see you
